The Problem
When admins sync channels across Google Chat and Microsoft Teams, secondary accounts which represent users on their opposite platform are not automatically added as members. This means channel rosters are not accurate on either platform and users are not able to tell which colleagues from the other platform are in the channel.
The Solution
With Membership Sync, Mio ensures roster alignment between Google Chat and Microsoft Teams. When syncing channels, Mio will automatically add user entities where available, maintaining accurate rosters. In cases where user entities are unavailable, Mio announces when users join and leave the channel, keeping other members informed. Additionally, Mio maintains rosters on an ongoing basis, ensuring users always know who they are chatting with.
